I love pizza like every other normal person in the world but I LOVE Margherita style pizza! There's something about the thin crust, fresh basil and sweet tomatoes that makes me drool more than any other pizza.

Now. Take the ingredients and place them on a crunchy puff pastry crust and you can get pizza heaven.

How to Make Pizza with Puff Pastry
Very delicious puff pastry pizza! I mean, anything on top of a puff pastry is good but eating cheese and fresh herbs and vegetables? Saliva.

And that is VERY easy to make. Even EASIER than launching your own pizza crust! All you need to do is buy store-bought puff pastry dough and let it thaw in the fridge!

Then, follow these 3 easy steps: BRUSH, TOP, and BAKE !!

  • Brush with garlic n 'herbal oil.
  • Add ingredients of your choice. (tomatoes, cheese, basil)
  • Bake at 400ยบ F!

There she is!! Treat the dough like pizza dough! (Well ... minus back and forth ...)
The result of using puff pastry is a warm, scaly, buttery and windy bite. The puff pastry pizza is very good, you can't wait until you try it!

Here are some tips that will help you provide the BEST pizza puff pastry!

  1. Make sure your dough is as cold as possible before baking! (This will really make your dough rise!)
  2. Make sure you don't add too many toppings to the mixture. This will burden the cake making it harder to take and eat!
  3. Use fresh mozzarella! That. Melt. BETTER. Point.

Margherita Pizza Topping
What ingredients should be served with pizza Margherita?
The ingredients are simple and can be slightly changed if you want.

  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Tomato
  • Basil
  • Garlic
  • Other plants

What will separate GOOD pizza from AWESOME pizza will be the ingredients.

How fresh are the ingredients you use?

I will let fresh garlic go but if you do not use FRESH BASIL, then you are not serious about making outstanding pizza.

Dry basil vs. fresh basil is a BIG difference!

  • 2 Sheets of Dough Pastry Puff Pastry ((17.3-ounce package))
  • 12 Oz. Freshly shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 Cup of Tomato Slices
  • 1/2 Cup of Fresh Basil
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. Power of Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Oregano is dry
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Pepper

  1. Heat more than 400 degrees F. In a small bowl, add garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt and pepper with oil.
  2. Open the puff pastry sheet and place it on a baking sheet. If you don't do it now, it will be difficult to transfer. Use a pastry brush to brush a thin layer of n 'oil mixture onto each sheet of pastry.
  3. Slice your tomatoes thinly and apply them to each sheet.
  4. Grate your mozzarella and spread it evenly about an inch of untouched dough around.
  5. Place it in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cake is golden brown. (I recommend placing your sheets on a lower shelf in the oven.)
  6. After the pizza is finished, take it and add your basil leaves! (Don't add until the last minute !!) Wait for about 5 minutes before cutting. Enjoy!

Recipe notes

  • Cut your pizza into whatever size you want. Keep in mind that this is a smooth mixture so large slices will be more difficult to handle.
  • Don't add the basil until it comes out of the oven!
  • Freshly shredded mozzarella cheese makes a difference!
  • You can leave your mozzarella chopped up instead of cutting it if you want!
  • You can use a can of diced tomatoes instead if you don't have fresh tomatoes on hand! Just spread it to the dough first.
  • Let the pizza rest for 5 minutes so that the cheese does not come apart when cut.
  • You can reheat the next day in the oven at 350 F for 4-5 minutes.
